The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened the registration window for the registration window for the recruitment of Office Attendant posts. A total of 572 vacancies have been announced under the RBI Office Attendant Panel Year 2025 recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website rbi.org.in. Qualification
Passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT. The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01-01-2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.

Desirable: Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India to the extent of number of years of such experience, subject to maximum of 3 years.
Salary/Stipend
Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 24250 per month (approx.) other allowances, as admissible from time to time.
At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs. 46029/- per month.
House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation.

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 25 years
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit will be relaxed as under:
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST): By 5 years, i.e., up to 30 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC): By 3 years, i.e., up to 28 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): By 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
Ex-Servicemen: To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to maximum of 50 years
Widows/divorced women/women judicially separated who are not re-married: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

Selection Process
Selection will be through Online Test and Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Online Test (Multiple Choice): Reasoning (30 questions, 30 marks), General English (30,30), General Awareness (30,30), Numerical ability (30,30). Total 120 question, 120 marks, 90 minutes.
There will be negative marks for wrong answer in the Online Test. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Candidates will have to qualify in each part of the online test separately.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted in the Official / Local Languages of the State concerned. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language as LPT shall be disqualified.
General Instructions
Candidates can apply for vacancy in one Office only and will have to opt for online test (pre-examination training, if any) center within the same state/UTs of the office for which he/she is applying.
The online test will be bilingual, i.e., available in English and Hindi except for the test of English Language.
Candidates will have to visit the Bank’s website for downloading call letters for online test, intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS
Use of MOBILE PHONES and other electronics devices BANNED: Mobile phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disqualification including ban from future examinations.
Candidates are not permitted to use or be in possession of calculators in examination premises.
Candidates are advised, in their own interest, not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured.
The post is also open to the employees of the Bank (staff candidates) who satisfy the eligibility criteria.
Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim of dispute arising out of his advertisement and / of an application in response thereto can be institute only in Mumbai and courts/ tribunals/ forums at Mumbai only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any cause / dispute.
Candidate’s admission to the Online Test / LPT is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Bank.
In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norm and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his / her candidature will stand cancelled
If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to terminated.
How to Apply

Before applying online, candidates should scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for photograph & signature scan upload.
To make online payment of application fees/ intimation charges candidate should keep the necessary details/ documents ready.
Candidates should have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of result.

Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph, signature left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration in the online application from as the specifications given.
To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
